Concentrating in Business/Taxation Law

Thomas G. Schober is a Certified Public Accountant as well as an attorney. His practice concentrates on business and taxation law, with extensive transactional experience in mergers and acquisitions.

He was admitted to the State Bar in 1973, having earned a Bachelor of Science degree cum laude in 1970 from Marquette University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1972 from Marquette University Law School (earning a Thomas More Scholarship in 1969 and 1972). He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1976.

Tom has been admitted to practice before the US Court of Appeals ‑ Seventh District, US District Court for Wisconsin ‑ Eastern and Western Districts, and the US Tax Court. He is a member of the Waukesha County Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin.

For fun, Tom flies his antique Piper Cub. His interest in aviation has also landed him a spot as a commissioner on the Waukesha County Airport Commission. He was born in Waukesha in 1948 and attends Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc. Tom, his wife, Patty, and the youngest two of his six children live in Summit near the firm's office in Oconomowoc.

Tom shares many more details about his interests on his own, self-created web site.
