Attorney J. Timothy Lovett (“Tim”) advises clients on issues of Business, Municipal Law, Nonprofit Organizations and Real Estate & Land Use from the firm’s New Berlin location.  Tim joined Schober Schober & Mitchell from DeWitt Ross & Stevens, S.C.  He received his Master’s in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and his Juris Doctorate from University of Wisconsin Law School.  

 

Tim’s dual experience as an attorney and urban planner will be beneficial to numerous developers, contractors, and municipal governments.  His background in urban planning and real estate development includes having served as staff for the former Milwaukee Mayor Henry Maier’s Lakefront Recreational Task Force. He also served as academic staff with the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee’s Center for Architecture and Urban Planning where he was involved in a variety of projects concerning land use issues in Milwaukee County. Tim was also Deputy Executive Director of the Milwaukee Urban League and the Planning Coordinator for the Geriatrics Unit at Mt. Sinai Hospital

 

Tim’s dedication to quality and personal service will serve a myriad of clients in the development and construction industries, as well as corporations, not for profit associations, and individuals.

 

Tim is currently a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Waukesha County Bar Association.  He chairs the Citizens Utility Board, is a member of the Executive Committee as Secretary and co-chair of the Friends of Wisconsin State Parks Policy Committee as well as a member of the Board of Positively Pewaukee, a Wisconsin Main Street Program.
