Barry W. Szymanski

When Barry joined the firm as “Of Counsel”, he brought along expertise in many areas of law as an attorney, lecturer, and consultant in business/corporate/ LLC, Chapter 181 non-profits, employer law, estate planning, real estate, and emergency medical services law. Barry consults with clients primarily in the Wauwatosa area, but is also available at any of the firm’s other locations.

Barry was born in Chicago, Illinois. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1965 from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. He earned his law degree from Marquette University in 1973. He is currently working on a MAPS degree. In addition to Barry’s membership in the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Bar Association, he is a member of the Milwaukee Estate Planning Council, and Attorney and Director of the Wisconsin Emergency Medical Association.

Since 1979, Barry has presented the Law for Business Owners course at WCTC, and has presented at both Marquette and Wisconsin law schools in the practical courses. Barry also is a former Court Commissioner, and past Chair of the Office Practice Section.

Barry teaches martial arts and self-defense to citizens, law enforcement recruits, and security officers. Barry, an avid photographer, whose work has been displayed at numerous locations, resides in Brookfield with his wife. They have one daughter.
